is it just me or is elena getting on anyone elses nerves. its almost like she likes stringing damon along. she knows how he feels about her so she knows every time she tells him to be the better man he will for her. she knows she has that affect on him and seems like she gets all touchy feely when she wants him to do what she wants. to me she looked jealous about that reporter chic and happy that damon blew her off until she realizes he didnt. i thought she wasnt like kat but now not so sure Posted over a year ago

Just noticed there was a parallel in the bath scene when Damon is telling Andie he loves Elena but can't be with her, and the scene in 2x08. In 2x08 he compells Elena to forget that he told her he loved her; in 2x13, the song playing when Damon is in the bath is 'Losing Your Memory', and was the second time he admits he loves Elena.
