As always, the last few minutes of The Vampire Diaries packs a lot of punch. Any glimmer of hope for Stelena fans? – Well, on the surface, no. Elena (Nina Dobrev) flat out says that Stefan betrayed her, which doesn’t really allow for much wiggle room in her heart. But if you want to read between the lines, she is still willing to stand in front of him and appeal to the side of him that may care about her, or at least care about humanity in general. His answer doesn’t help matters, but he is a man on a mission right now, saying and doing anything he has to to complete his plan against Klaus. He may want to push Elena away to keep her safe, but when she learns that he saved Klaus really to save his brother, she's bound to wonder if that means he still cares for her as much as he cares for his brother, right? over a year ago

me too i have always been a DE and DK shipper and can't stand SK and i rather have klaus and katherine together...for me because katherine is played by nina, i find it difficult to separate her from elena so if i see katherine with stefan i feel it s like SE and since the start of TVD katherine has always been with damon i mean in terms of interactions and i got used to it so i don't want stefrine interactions at all over a year ago

Elena tries to not think about Damon by going on and on about Stefan. She lives in denial and even Damon knows it. also you have to remember the publishers want Elena to be with Stefan so that's why Elena didn't end up with Damon and that's why they try to have her being all about Stefan even though its clear with the way the Delena scenes were written they are meant to be. over a year ago

I regard them as endgame because LJ was intending that to happen. I ignore whatever comes after Midnight if it isn't written by her, so I imagine Damon finds his way back to Elena who chooses him. Even Stefan knows how much Damon and Elena love each other at the end. He would let Elena go I think. Hopefully LJ can write their endgame someday. over a year ago

Scoop for 3x10 from ksite: 'Shippers will be happy. Which shippers? The CW gods said not to tell... but I can say at least three fan-groups get to see their favorite characters interacting. The choice of names that Klaus lists as "Elena's loved ones" is also particularly interesting. And some shippers might want to get their screen-capturing software handy.'

Just for some speculation- how do you guys see the season ending? Elena with Damon, Elena back with Stefan or Elena single and confused?

I kinda see this as the season where she will choose to stand alone for a while, as she tries to get her head around loving Damon and sorting through her love for Stefan now she's seen his ripper side... just a guess though. Posted over a year ago

^I don't think so! It's just how Elena is. A girl with a big forgiving heart! It's unlike her to not give a second chance to Stefan IMO. SE breakup was more due to circumstances than of their own choice. So, I do see them getting together for a while only to realize that things b/w them have changed. I really love the hospital scene when Damon finds Elena lying there being drained of her blood and how he unhooks her and when he looks at the tube he doesnt even look tempted to drink or vamp out. He just looks disgusted and angry this has happened to her <3

I noticed that too! How his eyes never signaled that his vampire nature was tempted by her blood. I think Stefan would have, and I believe he would always struggle with bloodlust with Elena. Just goes to show how meant to be Damon and Elena are. She is completely safe with him. over a year ago
