The writers are the ones telling us the story and they should be the ones to decide who Elena's true love is.

of course they have a say, because the more fans in one ship means the more people HAPPY about the ending! But no, we don't decide.. For instance, Julie Plec and Kevin might be still strong about Stelena and make them endgame. <--- but i doubt it. :)
If everyone knew who was going to be endgame, numerous people would stop watching it because there is nothing to surprise the veiwers.. if Stelena get back together people would say, 'Oh who cares? Delena is still endgame, we just need to wait and be patient' rather than, 'OMG STELENA ARE TOGETHER! OH NO, THIS CANT BE HAPPENING!!'

i agree with u guys the writers should have a say on the storylines, plots,which characters to kill,who they send way,....and so on but as for the endgame i think they should take consideration of the majoritey of the fans (which is DE) and pick them as endgame,yes we should have a say on the endgame, i know its crazy and not logical or whatever but i have had my heart broken before with some of the greatest most couples on tv only not to have them as endgame i can take it but i don't want to

so after this long list u really can't blame for wanting us to pick DE as endgame right,we all know they r supose to be endgame i would really hate to add them to this list

i trust the writers and they know what their doing.
