This time Elena was really sure about having Damon compell Jeremy.

Damon barely knew Elena and her family then! So, for him to come forward to make Jeremy forget was utterly selfless. :) (Not that it wasn't so now!)

don't get me wrong i loved the compelltison in 3x10 so much ,it was so swett and damon really looked he wanted jeremy to have a better lifw.

but 1x07, when stefan told her he can't do it right,i had a feeling that either stefan would do it anyway or that damon would come and do it but i still didn't have much faith in him ,and when he showed up and did it because elena made him addmitte he felt giulty,that what he did is wrong and he tried to make it right even though it was late that's the moment i knew elena would always bring out that side of him,i feel in love with damon right there becuase i knew there something behind all of his charm word and acts.

he does feel(we all knew that in 1x03 with DE bed scene) but this was different, this was about what he did worng and how this his way of making it right. alot of people say that elena "chanhed" him to be a better man and all, but i really believe that she only brought it to the light, he always been this better man he just hide it very well
