when he talked about it, it should've been when they were filming episode 7. i think he talked about it when episode 3 came out. so maybe episode 8?

If I remember correctly he made that statement before the premiere, so I figured that he was talking about Damon trying to kiss Elena in "The Return"..I hope I'm wrong though and that there is indeed one racy DE moment for us to expect in the next episodes..

I Don't Think He Was Talking About Damon Trying To Kiss Her In The Return. At Least I Hope Not!

2x01, 'racy' and 'steamy'?? Uh, no. In what universe could a scene when Damon got rejected by Elena after trying to kiss her be called such a thing? That's my idea of a cruel joke. I know Ian is a Delena fan and wouldn't joke about it...so it must be coming up soon. I'm thinking in the next 2 episodes. If, by 2x10 we still haven't seen it, then maybe it ended up getting cut out because it was too hot for TV. Or it really was 2x01. Noooo! If 2X01 WAS The Scene Ian was talking about, then I will not be happy. I will not be able to believe that DE had a 'hot' scene and I totally missed it!! I really will hate Kevin and Julie if that is the case!

I believe he was talking about the bedroom scene in episode 1. I remember the interview and he was talking about the premiere, so that must be the scene

A lot of people were saying that he was referring to the Damon/Kat scene in 2x01 but accidently said Delena. But I'm going to hope that its yet to come.

I'm hoping, but I dunno. Maybe he was referring to Damon and Katherine, and said Delena by accident, who knows...

What's been the scene in Season 2 that you think fans will flip over? Something particularly fun maybe?
There's a pretty racy scene with Elena and Damon. I wouldn't necessarily call it fun ... there hasn't been a lot of fun scenes to be honest with you. This isn't a very fun time for Damon. But in the face of adversity and chaos, Damon still has a really good time. But [the scene with Elena] is steamy and it's been waited for ... you get a really big, huge glimpse into Damon's vulnerability and what the power of attraction can do. That's all I'll say.

He was asked about season 2 in general, NOT the premeire, so I wouldn't assume he was talking about either the DK scene or the DE rejected kiss scene. And I cannot believe he would get mixed up and say 'Elena' instead of Katherine. Yes, they look identical, but you couldn't get confused when talking about their characters could you? Come on, we all know Ian is a DE fan! He wouldn't get confused with something like that!! I refuse to believe the scene referred here was in 2x01.

Maybe it was 2x08's scene but it was wasnt racy or anything.. SOO probably something BIGGER is going to happen. :)
