I was like.."Eh, what's so great?" and then BAM. Damon Salvatore came into the scene and the first meeting with Elena happened. I was besotted! I mean..when he leaned in and was like.."I found who I was looking for..Elena." and left, I had chills. I was like..OH no, who is this dark sexy stranger? and why did I like the Damon/Elena moment so much? the more I read, the more I became in love.. soo, to ask if I liked Stefan/Elena from the get go? I understood Damon more, way more actually and when ever he would kill someone :) i would say " He has his reasons." My cousin didnt like the big switch but i could care less. I just seen him as the bad guy trying to mess up his brothers life but then he really surprised me, it was the episode when Emily destroyed the crystal. Then I really began to love him and Delena and hate Stefan and Stelena. Now when I watch the earlier episodes I'm like WTF was I thinking? Liking Stefan more than Damon? Crazzyyy! I actually love watching the bad guy Damon now, but I love the softer side we see now. And all I can say about Delena! Amaazzziiinnggg!!!! When I realized that that's never gonna happen I started liking Delena. I think it was episode 1x07 that completely converted me. I was sold in that moment 'cause Damon had never done anything nice for anyone before that. Now I am completely obsessed with Delena and could never ship either Elena or Damon with anyone else. I know that if I was put in those situations, I would make the same choices and sacrifices as he did. I wanted him to be happy and Elena made him happy. Then in season 2 Elena really came into her own as a character and it became clearer and clearer that Elena needed Damon as much as he needed her. No going back now, and absolutely no regrets :) posted over a year ago.

I started liking Delena since that tense moment in 1x06, but I didn't ship them until somewhere in the 2nd half of the season. Ever since then they're my OTP. I didn't like Stelena at the beginning, with how Stefan emotionally manipulated her back then, but I was fine with them most of the 2nd half of season 1 and season 2.
