Both are horrendous options. I don't really know Nikki, but instead of being on the TVD set all the time, where she has no business, btw, shouldn't she be trying out for new roles? Or does the fact that she was in Twilight (*shivers*) and that she's dating Ian, means she can get any role she wants?

What is wrong with you?! I don't understand. This is just fiction! DE is a simple couple. I understand that you love and ship it as I do with other couples, but I don't get why we have to hate somebody because of a simple choice. Yes Elena will leave and? It is not the end of the world or something. And DB is a simple couple as well. I really don't see why we have to hate each other because of two fictional couples and be mad at someone because of her choice.
And think about it: Claire left TO but she came back, so Nina can come back too.

both of these choices becoming reality would be the 1st sign of the apocalypse!! bamon is so OOC for damon and should NEVER be an option and as for nikki...where do i begin? she was nothing more than and extra in a shit movie franchise and i'll be damned if she becomes the lead just because she's fucking all the common sense out of ian's brains!!

@Saku15, I'm not sure how much of DE fan you are, or if so, how long you've shipped them, but I've loved them for 6 YEARS. I've written articles on them. I wrote one about why they should be endgame when the show was fairly young. The writers have continually toyed with the DE fanbase. They stuck SE together for more than 3 seasons, and all that time we had to put up with Julie telling us on repeat how 'epic' they were. They deliberately tried to make us hate Damon by having him snap Jeremy's neck. They horrified us with Elena telling Damon that his love for her might be 'a problem' and then right after that, twisted the knife a little more by having her make cow eyes at Stefan on the porch. They very nearly lost us when Elena chose Stefan at the end of S3. The list goes on and on. Don't get me wrong, they've given us lots of beautiful moments and unforgettable episodes as well, but the problem is that there's usually very little reward. They keep saying 'Look at how amazing Delena are! They belong together!' and then they rip them apart. So at the end of 6 Seasons, it's only right that we want a HAPPY ENDING. This wouldn't be an issue if the show was going to end at 6 seasons, but Nina is leaving...and they still want to continue without her. IF they make Bamon endgame, then that would be a huge betrayal on the thousands of DE fans who loyally supported the show for so many years...years that they'll never get back, do you understand? DE have been the main couple of the show...and to deny them a happy endgame, and give it to Bamon who only became friends this year would be VERY bad writing. Because they spent the most time developing this relationship and writing this connection, and making it look like they had a future together, and that Damon would only ever love Elena. If the writers sincerely wanted a Bamon romance, then they should have started writing it YEARS ago, so we could have said 'OK, it's a toss-up between Elena and Bonnie' They chose not to do that. You don't tell an epic romance, and have the male lead choose another girl at the end. It would be like Darcy marrying Kitty instead of Elizabeth in 'Pride and Prejudice', or Romeo ditching Juliet for another girl. If the producers always thought Bonnie was the right girl for Damon, and that Bamon really had a shot, then they should have made it obvious 3 SEASONS AGO, it shouldn't happen just because Nina is leaving the show. Case closed.

bamon is not in any way, shape or form, a a simple couple. bamon is a disater waiting to happen. for one thing, damon ADORES elena, he worships the ground she walks on. and he is completely and utterly in love with her, to the point, were he would defy the universe to be with her. for another, damon and bonnie, dont have NEARLY the amount of development and chemistry that delena have, and what about all the times bonnie used to punish him with anurisims and set him on fire?? and what about all the times she judged him without getting to know him?? or we just going to skip that part?? or how about the fact that damon has shown ZERO romantic interest in bonnie in all six seasons. a few conversations, and scenes together, does NOT equal true love, and its as simple as that. damon ditching elena, and moving on with bonnie, would be totally out of character for him, and absolute bullshit on sooooo many levels. no, damon would never choose to with bonnie over elena, for that to happen, they would haveto completely alter damons character, and they cant dont that without removing all traces of elena which would make him look heartless and very shallow. and the writers and the bamon fandom are seriously dilluding themselves if they think otherwise. and as for the other option, please dont get me started on that, i mean do i even have to say it?? nope. DEFAN ALL THE WAY!!!! i mean, i cant stand defan, but i would always choose them over an ooc bamon endgame.

Loving Delena has nothing to do with hating anyone/anything. At least I thought so. I like Bamon friendship (hate the thought of them as a couple) & I like that Nikki makes Ian happy. That does not make me any less of a Delena fan. Hatred is never cool FYI

At first I was okay with Nikki because I'm a twilight fan. But when I found out she MARRIED IAN SOMERHALDER she pissed me of IAN BELONGS TO NINA NOT TO HER!
