I'm really sorry. I know how much you all irritated with all this bamon rubbish, But I was curious. I guess I had too know what the fans thoughts where on this issue.

There's been an article on Moviepilot.com about that the writers refuse to deny the rumors about a Bamon hookup in season 6. Fortunately, for me, I know writers are not to be trusted in interviews. All this article will do, is give Bamon fans false hope. I told them it was never going to happen, and maybe I was a little harsh, but after hearing, time and time again, that we're the delusional ones, I got sick of it.

If it's one of those articles that twist JP's words, then it's not to be trusted anyway. Some writers draw their own idiotic conclusions from JP's quotes.

It's just the writers trolling and the fans taking it seriously... Like always.

Agreed. But what really irks me is this whole bamon vs delena poll?? What the fuck do they even need it for?? Why can't people just except that bamon is NEVER going to become a reality. It's just the way it is. And they should get used to it. It's like they are deliberately trying to ignore the fact that delena May separated, but not broken. They may be apart in at the moment in reality, but in spirit they are profoundly connected. And they love eachother deeply. Damon being alone with Bonnie in a different dimension is NEVER to change that. And another they seem to going on about, they seem to think that just because nian have split up, they have it in their heads, that the writers will use excuse too break up delena, and have stelena get back together, and put Damon with Bonnie. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!

If a RL breakup would ruin Delena, they could have done it in season 5. XD

Never mind that. I'll quit watching altogether.

No, because there's too many good reasons for them NOT to happen.
1. It would cheapen Delena's love. The writers have spent all this time getting Elena away from Stefan etc, and now Damon is stuck in this after-life place with Bonnie, then that means Bamon are gonna happen? Please. They could've happened before, when SE were still together.
2. It would cheapen Damon's character. He spent how many decades stuck on Katherine? (Yeah, I know he slept with other women, but his heart was with Kat). He loves Elena way more than he loved Katherine. It goes against his character for him to fall in love with another woman he just *happens* to be stuck with.
3. It would cheapen Bonnie's character and her friendship with Elena. The 2 girls are best friends. Bonnie is very loyal. She was even willing to die for Elena in the past. This would turn everything on its head and instead of being best friends, Bonnie and Elena would become rivals. I don't see any need for that.

Basically, it would be downright stupid of the writers to even THINK of 'going there'. Maybe if they were desperate, and they thought the show needed a re-boot, or if Delena weren't working, or the fans didn't like them together, then it might be possible I suppose. But I don't believe the producers in charge of the show would, after all this time, finally say "Right! Let's get down to the next thing on our wish list - Bamon! Their fans have been going on about them forever, sooo...I guess it won't hurt to, y'know, give them a little something." Even if the writers lost their heads temporarily, Bamon are never ever going to be endgame. They would just be a fling or whatever, so there's no point in it. Most of the fans over on the Bamon spot - and I mean, the hardcore ones (like the one who churned out those odious little articles every week) have practically disappeared. Support for Bamon was strongest in the first 2 seasons, then after S3, I believe a lot of people who shipped them lost hope. They had a window of opportunity which got smaller and smaller with every season that passed, and now we're entering the 6th season, it's too late. They can have a friendship, but that's all.

Jenna- what you said about DE being separated physically, but still being deeply connected - EXACTLY! i don't understand how anyone with a brain can still try to deny the deep, profound love that Damon & Elena have for each other. They are IT for each other - Elena NEVER was able to think about the future with Stefan, yet with Damon? It's everything to her!

I've said it a number of times since 5x21 aired and i will say it again; the writers made a conscientious decision in having Elena say "I thought i was never going to see you again. I couldn't think of a worse way to die."

Elena Gilbert, the young woman who has been tortured repeatedly, drained of her blood, burned, beaten, ACTUALLY DIED FROM DROWNING!! - And the WORST way she could think to die? Not getting to see Damon again.

Tell me Delena aren't endgame and I'll promptly look for mental health services for you.

yeah, its the truth! and whenever we are feeling down, this is the thing that we must remember. there are far to many hints, and signs that point towards a delena endgame for this to just a mere conincedence.
