In this scene they were so damn close!!

I know that many of you (and I) loved the Dalaric scene but since it's the DE spot.....

Don't get me wrong the blood sharing scene was the hottest scene in TVD and TV (since 3x19 epic kiss) but if I only shipped DE becuase of their epic sexual chemistry then iw oils have probley stoped in S1(the season when they barley touched) but I don't ship them only for their epic chemistry I ship them for their amazing connection and understating of one another for their trust in one another

This scene showed the core reason why everyone ships or should ship DE

This. NBot becasue of sexual tension, but becasue of Damon caressing Elena's hair. He was so caring, understanging, so sweet & supportive. This gesture was a promise everything will be just fine as long as he's by her side.
Second close come's his smile when Elena was closing the bathroom door after he brought her a clean dress. I think that Damon was never so caring toward human Elena as he is now - he knows exactly what she's going through and does everything to make it easier for her.

i really don't know.... the blood-sharing was with out a doubt Amazing♥ But the other scene was just.... idk it was something, i loved that one too, i think i would say the calming scene as my preferred choice however the blood-sharing was just out of this world amazing.... and how Damon held her was just.... god too many emotions, i just don't know! JUST ALL TOO PERFECT♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

My head exploded when I saw that. I wanted to scream and shout at the TV, but my parents wouldn't have liked that very much (4 am...) so I kept myself together. What I'm saying is: it was amazing!!! I hope it has side effects, like in True Blood :).

That scene .... And Damons face o_o amazing!! One of my favourite DE scenes so far, they were both great though! :) ;)

Because the looks and interactions b/w them were classic "meant to be together" signals. I loved every moment of it, especially the way Elena looked at Damon.

@Annik Julie Plec has already said it won't have physical side effects according to someone else on here. I think that's a good thing...we don't want Elena questioning and hiding from her feelings for Damon even more!! Damon's always wanted everything b/w them to be real.
